Guardaviñas Tour, private group

Discover two of the traditional vineyard tool sheds «guardaviñas» restored in 2000 on this private tour: the Villacárdenas one and the Valdechuecas one.

Dates:

Spring, summer, and fall. Not available on Mondays or during harvest season.

Itinerary:

After this 5-kilometer guided tour with the spectacular Mount San Lorenzo in the background and surrounded by vineyards, some of which are almost a century old, we will have a light lunch at David’s Guardaviñas, built in 2009.

The experience then continues with a tour of the cellars at the David Moreno Winery. During the visit, we will enjoy their wines, both in a barrel tasting and in a premium wine tasting with a Rioja appetizer.

A unique visit that will allow you to get closer to the traditional guardaviñas of La Rioja, typical constructions where farmers protected themselves from inclement weather, rested, or stored the tools necessary for working in the vineyard.

What to bring

This experience is designed for ages 5 and up. If you would like to attend as a family, please write to us so we can design a visit for everyone.

Remember to wear comfortable shoes, as you will be walking on uneven terrain.
